The first part of this multi-step process is to find a splash pad! You can find a large splash pad area near the Celebration Center in Gilbert Gardens, where you can travel with your child Sims to play around. Alternatively, you can buy them in the Build Menu if you want one right at home. Just make sure you buy both a splash pad and an emitter!

Once you can access a splash pad, it’s time to become playful! If you take a child to one of these in a non-playful mood, they’ll watch or play in the water. Since the aspiration task asks you to “stomp playfully”, you’ll have to crack jokes with someone or use an emotional ambience item to make your child Sim playful.

After telling enough jokes to raise your character’s mood to playful, it’s time to hop onto the splash pad! Now, when you select the emitter, you’ll see an option to “stomp playfully”, allowing you to finish the first task in the Playtime Captain aspiration.
