If you want to join the Pioneer Scouts, venturing across Appalachia to find their numerous campsites is quite the adventure. Here is where to find Camp Adams in Fallout 76.

Where is Camp Adams in Fallout 76?

You can find Camp Adams in Fallout 76 north of the Kanawha Nuka-Cola Planet, south of Billings Homestead, west of The Giant Teapot, and east of Lewis & Sons Farming Supply.

If you’re having trouble finding the campsite, look for Camp Adams Lookout. It’s a large watch tower that should stand out like a sore thumb.

Once you’re at the camp and thoroughly exploring the dilapidated cabins and watchtower, be on the lookout for various enemies. When I arrived, a pack of vicious mongrels were waiting near the fire in the center of the cabins, and they attacked on sight. Among them was a legendary vicious mongrel.

They weren’t too much trouble to handle but watch your shots. You don’t want to hit Scout Leader Penny by the campfire.

Loot at Camp Adams

Once you finally stumble upon Camp Adams in Fallout 76, you’ll undoubtedly want to look around and explore the various cabins and tents for valuable loot. You can often find:

  • Pioneerbook: Camping
  • Pioneerbook: Fundraisers
  • Pioneerbook: Meal Prep
  • Magazines (Potential spawns)
    • Near the campfire on the center bench.
    • Behind the knowledge exam cabin.
    • In the shower block.
  • Recipes
  • Binoculars

The books don’t prove helpful; they’re just notes with a bit of flavor and lore for the game, but the magazines and recipes are beneficial if you don’t already have them in your vast inventory. That said, they are random spawns.

While you’re busy looking for loot, why not look for Nuka Cola Orange? There’s nothing quite like cracking open a cold one after a day spent in the wasteland.
