Where to Buy Med Packs in Starfield

They run out fast

For most of your time in Starfield, exploring every inch of an abandoned lab or simply buying a Med Pack will be your best option for stocking up on healing supplies. There are a lot of vendors selling all kinds of items, though, and we’re here to help you learn where to buy medical supplies within the game.

Buy Med Packs at Doctors and Vendors in Starfield

You can buy Med Packs from doctors and vendors in Starfield. For example, you can buy Med Packs from Talia O’Shea in The Well below New Atlantis. Talia is the main vendor over at the Med Bay store, which is hard to miss in The Well because of the bright green signs that indicate plenty of medical supplies. If you reach The Well from the Tram Station elevator in New Atlantis, then the Med Bay store is directly ahead.

I recommend heading to Talia O’Shea to buy Med Packs in Starfield because it’s located on one of the first major story planets. That means you can get here easily and there is no worry of any danger. Simply fast-travel whenever you need some more medical supplies and head down to Talia.

Which Vendors Sell Med Packs in Starfield

I suggest talking to nearly any vendor you find in Starfield. A vast majority of them will sell at least some medical supplies. Most of the time, they have at least one Med Pack sitting around for around 500 Credits. It won’t always happen, but we even managed to buy some Med Packs from a random vendor walking her dog around a remote fracking facility.

If you have the time though, specific vendors will have more medical options and a much higher volume of supplies. Take it from us, you don’t want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with one Med Pack to your name. Doctors will restock their medical supplies every 24 hours, so you can continuously buy them out as long as you sleep or wait for 24 hours in-between purchases.

Med Pack Skills in Starfield

If you are still low on Med Packs even after buying some from the many vendors scattered throughout Starfield, we highly recommend picking up the Scavenging skill. At level three it gives you a higher chance of finding Med Packs and other medical items when searching containers.

And if you want more healing from your Med Packs, consider leveling up the Medicine skill. Each rank of the skill will increase the amount Med Packs heal, and how fast they heal, by 10%. The final rank of the skill grants an additional 10% bonus, for a total of 50% more and faster healing.

And while we’re on the topic of medical supplies, you might want to know how to heal burns in Starfield so you don’t get cooked in space.
