If you want to obtain the Mystic Armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to find the brothers Kilton and Koltin and complete the two-part side adventures: The Hunt For Bubble Gems and The Search for Koltin. For those who don’t know, the Mystic Armor set is armor that, when receiving damage by getting hit by an enemy, Link will lose Rupees instead of hearts and lives.
To start with the side adventures, you’ll need to find the brothers Kilton and Koltin. Then you’ll need to help one of them in his quest to become a Satori. Following this will be the final step: finding them a second time and trading them goods for a set of armor and more. In this guide, I’ll give you the location for the first part of the mission and then all the other known locations of Kilton and Koltin after completing the first step of the guide.

Kilton’s First Location in Tears of the Kingdom (Coordinates: 1206,1211,0220)
The first location where you’ll find Kilton and his younger brother Koltin is behind the Woodlands Stable in Hyrule. The Woodlands Stable is northeast of Lookout Landing and Central Hyrule. Surrounding the stable are the Pico Pound, Minshi Woods, and the Military Training Camp, all found in the Eldin Canyon region.
When you reach the stables, you’ll find the brothers around the corner, standing in front of the Pico Pound and Pico Pond Cave (displayed with a diamond on the map below).
Once you’ve waited for night to fall and have seen their purple fluorescent-lit vendor/cart, go and talk to them. You’ll activate the side quest, The Hunt for Bubble Gems. Once you’ve completed the side quest, the next place to find them is Tarrey Town, where you’ll carry out the next part of the adventure for the Mystic Armor. This is also where the next side adventure, The Search for Koltin, will begin.
Where To Find Kilton After Completing The Hunt For Bubble Gems
You’ll find Kilton In Tarrey Town. He will be in front of the reserved plot in the town, standing with Mr. Hudson. Once there and following a chat with the tiny critter, you’ll activate another side mission, A Monstrous Collection I, where you need to help Kilton capture images of monsters for them to turn into sculptures.
This is also where Kilton will inform you about his brother and where to find him. He will inform you that his brother can be found at night in certain locations all over Hyrule.
Other Locations to Find Koltin in Zelad: Tears of the Kingdom
There are three known locations where I’ve found Koltin in Tears of the Kingdom. There are surely more mountaintops where you can find him, but I’m yet to find other locations and will add them once I’ve located him.
All the locations where I’ve found Koltin in The Legend of Zelda are as follows:
Koltin Location #1 (Coordinates 3661,20263,0168)
Koltin’s first location is on Ulri Mountain, and he can be seen from the Monster Sculptures plot in Tarrey Town. He will be close to the Ulti Mountain Skyview Tower. Fast travel to the tower and walk or run to his location, which is behind the tower.
Koltin Location #2 (Coordinates -2789,-2422,0200)
The next location that I saw him while gliding was atop the Gerudo Canyon. He can be seen from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. You can reach him by gliding from the tower.Â
Koltin Location #3: (Coordinates 0586,-2683,0112)
The third and final location I saw Koltin from a distance was between the Bridge of Hylia, Farosh Woods, Dracozu Lake, and Fural Plains.

The easiest way to get to Koltin is by gliding south from the Popla Skyview Tower. Once Dracozu Lake is on your left, you’ll see the purple of the cart shine in the night.
The Kilton & Koltin Conclusion in Tears of the Kingdom
You must find Kilton and Koltin in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as well as collect as many Bubble Gems as you possibly can. He trades quite a few useful items that can be employed in battle.
If you don’t have enough Bubble Gems to trade with Koltin for all his goods at once, he will keep popping up between 21:00 and 04:55 (because the morning starts at 05:00) in the various locations marked on the map. Once you’ve traded all your Bubble Gems with him for all the pieces of the Mystic Armor set, Koltin will stop appearing throughout Hyrule.
If you stand by the cart until the morning, he won’t suddenly vanish into thin air. But if you interact with him in the morning, he will tell you you came at an unfortunate hour and must return at night again. Kilton, on the other hand, will remain at Tarrey Town until the sculpture quest is complete.
