If there is one thing players love finding in Elden Ring, it is new gestures, allowing them to communicate with each other before jolly cooperation of honorable combat. However, the Euridition Gesture is pretty tough to get, so in this guide, we will show you how to track it down.
As a warning, this guide will contain some story spoilers for the Liurnia of the Lakes region of Elden Ring.
Where to find the Erudition Gesture
To get the Erudition Gesture, players will need to have access to the Academy of Ray Lucaria. This means you will have found the Meeting Place Map and tracked down the Glintstone Key required to remove the seal that blocks entry to the Academy. Once you have access, make your way through the Academy until you arrive at the Debate Parlor.
From the Debate Parlor, make your way through the door out into the central courtyard, and turn left up the ramp of broken earth.
Be careful, as at the top of the stairs on the left are some caster enemies. Take them out, then jump the railing on the left to the steps below.
Take out the next caster, and be mindful of another behind you. Head up the stairs and to the left, then jump the railing to the rooftops below.
Follow the only route along these rooftops, and you will come to two Marionette enemies. Take them out, then climb the ladder to the right.
At the top of the ladder, make your way down the walkway and take out the caster and three smaller enemies, then drop down to the roof at the mossy corner on the right.
Continue dropping down levels until you see two Marionette enemies. Take out the one on the right, then drop down one more level to the small ledge below you.
Follow this around and drop down onto the roof of a church. Enemies patrol it, so be cautious, but you can climb in the windows on the sides. Look down, and you will see rafters and chandeliers. Drop down to the chandelier with the glowing item to grab the Academy Glintstone Key.
Now you need to take the Academy Glintstone Key to its rightful owner. This is Sorcerer Thops at the Church of Irith. You can quickly get there by fast traveling to the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace just after Stormveil Castle. The Church of Irith can then be found to the left.
Speak with Sorcerer Thops and exhaust his dialogue to get the option to give him the Academy Glintstone Key, then he will provide you with the Euriditon Gesture in return.
