Elden Ring players can get the Dane’s Footwork by defeating the Leda and Allies boss in Enir-Ilim. This is one of the late-game areas of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Players can get to Enir-Ilim by first defeating Messmer the Impaler in Shadow Keep, then defeating Romina, Saint of the Bud in Church of the Bud. You have to burn the sealing tree at the church with Messmer’s Kindling to be transported to Enir-Ilim.

Take the critical path through Enir-Ilim until you reach the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom Site of Grace, which will be right before the boss fight. The Dane’s Footwork can then be found on Dryleaf Dane’s corpse after the fight.

Dane’s Footwork requires eight Dexterity and eight Strength, which players will certainly have by that point. It can also be wielded one or two-handed, so there is no need for New Game+ to get a second set. Here is the full Dane’s Footwork build:

Gear TypeGear
Right Hand ArmamentDane’s Blood Footwork with Dryleaf Whirlwind Ash of War
Left Hand ArmamentAny Sacred Seal
IncantationsFlame Grant Me Strength, Golden Vow, Howl of Shabriri
ArmorWhite Mask, Rakshasa Armor, Rakshasa Gauntlets, Divine Bird Warrior Greaves
TalismansLord of Blood’s Exultation, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Shard of Alexander, Shattered Stone Talisman
Wonderous Physick MixBloodsucking Cracked Tear, Thorny Cracked Tear

This is a bleed build where the purpose is to stagger your enemy with the Dryleaf Whirlwind’s four-hit combo. Every piece of gear, Incantation, and talisman will either increase attack power or blood loss.

The Shattered Stone Talisman raises kicking potency and can be found at Moorth Ruins. The Rakshasa set, found at the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum, raises damage with each piece equipped, while the Divine Bird Warrior Greaves dropped by Divine Bird Warriors near Enir-Ilim will increase kicking force. All these items are exclusive to the DLC.
