When Does Season 2 of Overwatch 2 End? – Answered

Not too much longer to go.

Overwatch 2 Season 2 has been in full swing for about a month now, as players have become more accustomed to both Ramattra and the newest map, Shambali Monastery. There’s still some time before the season ends, but given the exciting prospect of new content, some may be wondering when they can see all the next content drop has to offer. Here’s when Season 2 of Overwatch 2 will end.

How Much Time is Left in Overwatch 2 Season 2?

Using the remaining days within the game client itself, Season 2 of Overwatch 2 should end on February 7, 2023. After that, Season 3 should go live with some likely balance changes and new content. If you’re looking to grind out your battle pass, this leaves just under a month to get whatever remaining levels you want. With likely double-match XP weekends on the way, this should be made even easier.

As for what you can expect with Season 3, we don’t have exact details but can speculate a bit based on previous information. As stated by the team themselves, each season from here on out should alternate between a new map and a new hero, so we can expect season 3 to drop some sort of map. What the map will be is unknown, though there have been a few teasers about an “Atlantic Arcology” on various current maps, so possibly that. Alongside a new map, a sweeping set of balance changes is more than likely. We should have more details on both things closer to the season’s launch date.
