When Does the Dawning End?

The Dawning will run from December 11 until January 1, giving players plenty of time to dive in and enjoy the new festivities that have made their way to the game. There’s a ton of great little activities to take part in, including new missions and even some quirky little quests that are sure to keep players running around for a while.

Guardians will also be able to get their hands on some new Sparrows, as well as a new machine gun that features random perk rolls. Tess Everis’ shop has also received a holiday update, granting players a chance to receive some unique cosmetic items exclusively available in the Eververse.

Those players who have already reached max level will also find that the Dawning is set up quite nicely for them, giving them a chance at double drops, which will increase their chance to receive new items quite a bit. On top of the double drops, the new items will also be removed from the loot pool when they’ve been picked up, which means players will see less duplicates from this year’s event.

Eva Levante also makes a return this time around, bringing back an older character that players haven’t seen since the end of the original Destiny. If you’re looking for more help during Destiny 2’s the Dawning, make sure you head back over to our Destiny 2 guides, where you’ll find an assortment of helpful guides and information to assist you during this year’s holiday event.
