ThrifTea Explained in The Sims 4 High School Years

ThrifTea is a clothing and food store introduced in The Sims 4: High School Years. To find it, you’ll have to enter the new Copperdale world and look in the Prescott Square district. This is the area southwest of the school, and it contains the library, various residential lots, and the ThrifTea store. Click on the building just northwest of the library to travel to it!

There are two main parts to ThrifTea: clothes and food! While creating new fashion looks, you can chat with the Vendor NPC at the back of the store to order food and drinks. Below are all of your options:

  • Veggie Slider: 10 Simoleons
  • Fried Chicken Slider: 10 Simoleons
  • Hamburger Slider: 10 Simoleons
  • Corndog: 8 Simoleons
  • Lychee Milk Bubble Tea: 6 Simoleons
  • Mango Milk Bubble Tea: 6 Simoleons
  • Taro Milk Bubble Tea: 7 Simoleons
  • Chocolate Milk Bubble Tea with Cheese Foam: 8 Simoleons
  • Strawberry Matcha Latte Bubble Tea: 9 Simoleons

The main event, though, is clothing! However, you’re creating fashion looks that others can purchase using the Trendi system rather than buying clothing yourself. Just pick a clothing rack, tap “Create a Fashion Look”, and start making a new trend!

Trendi Explained in The Sims 4 High School Years

In The Sims 4: High School Years, Trendi is an in-game phone app that allows you to create and list clothing sets to make money. While you can make whatever Fashion Look you’d like, you can also use the app to check the latest trends to determine what styles have the highest chance of selling. After looking at the latest trends, creating a Fashion Look using a ThrifTea clothing rack is the first place to start.

Once you create your new design and pay the initial fee, the fashion set will appear in your inventory. You can wear the outfit to increase hype or sell it on Trendi to make some cash. If you sell it, you can also set your price at the same or slightly above the recommended price or try your luck at going above it, but be careful that the listing doesn’t expire! It’ll only stay on Trendi for 24 ingame hours before being delisted.

If you have a successful sale, you’ll be notified in-game that someone is interested in buying the outfit. From here, you can ship it off in your mailbox, gain some money and progress towards the Entrepreneur skill. High follower counts on Trendi will significantly increase your chances of selling high-value Fashion Looks. You’ll naturally gain more followers as you successfully hype up and sell more outfits.
