Minimum System Requirements for Starfield on PC

When I opened the official System Requirements for Starfield I was very, very delighted to read what I’ve read. And hopefully, you will be too.

  • Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
  • Memory (RAM): 16 GB RAM

My PC (who also was best friends with a T-Rex ages ago) is almost entirely in line with the Minimum System Requirements.

Recommended PC specs are also not drastic. I am due for an upgrade to match this, but let’s be real, GeForce has a 30 and 40 series out already (GeForce 30 series being released way back in January 2022), and below, you will see that RTX 2080 is the recommended GPU to have to play Starfield on PC. Hopefully, the optimization is splendid!

  • Operating System (OS): Windows 10/11 with updates
  • Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel i5-10600K
  • Memory (RAM): 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics (GPU): AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 125 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD Required

That’s all for this good news article for the PC gang. If you need to upgrade your rig, you have just under three months to make amends.
