Elden Ring is packed with crafting materials, and Crabs Eggs are something that players are likely to run into early. Anyone who visits the coast near the First Step and takes on the strange monsters on the beach or ventures into the swamp area is likely to find plenty of Crab Eggs.
What Crab Eggs are for in Elden Ring
Crab Eggs are used in specific recipes, mainly the Invigorating Cured Meat and Invigorating White Cured Meat recipes.
Invigorating Cured Meat
Learned from the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook (2) that can be purchased from Kale at the Church of Elleh, this recipe will help characters to withstand the build-up of Frost and Bleed.
- 3 Golden Rowa
- 1 Sliver of Meat
- 1 Crab Eggs
- 1 Land Octopus Ovary
Invigorating White Cured Meat
This recipe variation is also learned from the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook (2) but requires a Strip of White Flesh. This can be gotten from the Nomadic Merchant in Liurnia of the Lakes and found on bodies in the Woodfolk Ruins and the Capital Outskirts. It will last for longer than the standard version but offers less resistance to the build-up of Frost and Bleed.
- 3 Golden Rowa
- 1 Strip of White Flesh
- 1 Crab Eggs
- 1 Land Octopus Ovary
