What are Contender Cards?

Contender Cards can be purchased from Eva Levante in the Tower courtyard. They will give players challenges that they can complete in the are named in the card, and it will reward either a Gold or Platinum Medallion based on the difficulty of the activity.

Another important factor is the cost, as the more difficult the challenge and the better the reward, the higher the cost of the Contender Card. They can cost either 100 or 200 Laurels.

  • Gambit – Gold Medallion (100 Laurels)
  • Seasonal Activity – Gold Medallion (100 Laurels)

  • Trials – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)
  • Nightfalls – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)
  • Raids – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)
  • Higher Difficulty Throne World – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)
  • Higher Difficulty Seasonal Activity – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)
  • Lost Sectors – Platinum Medallion (200 Laurels)

Gold Medallions are worth 5 points for your team, while Platinum medals are worth 15 points. So, earn some Laurels and then make your way to Eva Levante to pick up a Contender Card and start earning those posts for Team Warlock! Hunters and Titans out there can avoid it, honest.
