How to Block While Reviving

When an ally goes down, you’re going to need to approach them and hold down E to revive them. This takes a few seconds to complete—which is denoted by a time bar on the screen—so you’ll need to be able to survive the attacks that the enemy is dishing out at this time, otherwise you’ll have to wait until combat is over to revive. The good news is, you can fix this by simply blocking while you revive your allies.

In order to do this, you’re going to need to press and hold down the right mouse button with your melee weapon out. This should bring up three shields (or two shields depending on the weapon that you’re using) in the center of the screen. These represent your Stamina, which determines how much you can block from your enemies.

Now, continue holding down the block button while you revive your ally. This will allow you to take a few hits while reviving your teammate. This will keep you from being interrupted while you revive your friends, allowing you to get your entire team back up and running, even if in the middle of combat.

This tip is extremely useful in higher difficulty levels, and it’s something you definitely need to take advantage of as you play through the various missions in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. This will make it much easier to complete the missions and keep your teammates alive.
