This battle comes up as the final battle of the Electrodynamic Cenobium region of Rogue Trader, where you’re attempting to take back a holy site from heretics and assist Holy Interrogator Heinrix van Calox.

Once you reach the room, you’ll be met with the heretic leader Aurora who quickly shrouds herself and deploys six Electro-Priests, working to detonate the reactor. Complicating things further, you have a restricted number of rounds before the reactor in the room detonates. Your goal is to eliminate everything in the room before she can.

The Best Strategy for Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Reactor Fight

Your goal, in essence, is to split up your forces to take down all enemies on the left and right sides of the room. However, there’s a hidden mechanic that the game strangely doesn’t tell you. You’ll notice a handful of Electro-Priests around the room surrounded by heretics. For every Electro-Priest you kill, you’ll increase the rounds before reactor detonation by one. Because of this, the Electro-Priests should be your priority targets.

As for how you should engage this battle, I highly suggest having one Warrior with the Charge ability on each side if possible. This will let you rush into battle and quickly take down an Electro-Priest if things get hairy. For example, I ran Abelard, my Rogue Trader, and Cassia on one side of the room, with Argenta, Heinrix, and Pasqal on the other side of the room. From there, I slowly progressed my way up either side of the room and took out whoever I could.

With a plan like that in mind, the fight should become a lot easier. Remember not to send your frontline too far in too quickly unless you have Endure to help them tank whatever might immediately focus them.
