There is a great deal of excitement in the video game world currently surrounding Riot Games' first-person shooter known as Valorant. The tactical character-based title is set to rock the gaming world when it releases sometime in Summer 2020. However, many players have been curious as to whether or the FPS will be available on console platforms when it launches later this year. Fortunately, we have gathered together all of the currently known information regarding Valorant being on any of the console platforms.

Will Valorant Be on Console?

Now, Riot Games has only officially confirmed that its upcoming FPS will be on PC. The developer has not revealed any plans regarding having the game launch on any console platform like the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Nintendo Switch.

However, there is always the possibility that Riot could potentially release the game on console platforms when the likes of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 become available for players considering that the FPS will be released right before these next-generation consoles hit the market.

The developer has already branched out of the PC realm with its Legends of Runterra title coming to Mobile platforms and its League of Legends spin-off Wild Rift coming to consoles this year. So, it would not be entirely shocking to see Riot Games make its first FPS available on console platforms sometime in the future, especially with FPS games being popular on consoles.

 Valorant Console

Unfortunately, all that owners of consoles can do for the time being is wait and hope that Riot announces some plans in the future regarding its character-based tactical FPS coming to their gaming platforms of choice. We will update this piece with any new information about this topic if any is made available.
