Firesprite Games is developing Until Dawn 2 in partnership with AdHoc Studio, the talented team behind Dispatch. It’s launching next year, but pre-orders are live for PS5, and here is everything you need to know about pricing, pre-order bonuses, deluxe edition content, and the confirmed voice cast.
Until Dawn 2 Pre-Order Bonus
If you pre-order Until Dawn 2, you’ll receive the following bonus content for returning character Dr. Hill:
- Original Until Dawn costume.
- Akishima Island holiday outfit.
- Dr. Hill collectible bobbleheads.
Both editions will receive the pre-order bonuses.
Until Dawn 2 Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition of Until Dawn 2 comes with the following additional content:
- Y2K Neon Vibes Pack: Vibrant neon costumes for all 8 members of Dead True.
- Diorama of Death: A gallery mode to view each death in “gruesome detail”.

Until Dawn 2 is launching both physically and digitally next year. It’s also not a full-priced $70 game, and the Deluxe Edition is only $10 more than the standard version. If you opt for the physical version, you can also buy the Deluxe Edition content separately at launch.

Dr. Hill is the only returning character from the original Until Dawn; every other character is new, and Until Dawn 2 is a completely standalone experience that doesn’t require you to play the first title.
Until Dawn 2 Release Date
Until Dawn 2 launches exclusively on PS5 on January 28, 2027. It’s a single-player experience and includes no multiplayer elements.
Is Until Dawn 2 Coming to PlayStation Plus?
No, Until Dawn 2 won’t be on any tier of PlayStation Plus at launch.
While Supermassive Games isn’t returning for the sequel, Until Dawn 2 seems to be in good hands at Firesprite. All the footage shown so far feels like a sequel to the original in all the right ways, and I hope it delivers the same impact with a heavy emphasis on choice and consequences.
