Threat Level Destiny 2 Guide: How to Get The Shotgun

So, actually getting your hands on the Threat Level weapon is a luck thing. Yeah, we know. We’re not actually sure if having to rely on RNG is better or worse than gunning through a quest chain that might take upwards of a week, but hey, each to their own. If you want to acquire this shotgun, it’s a drop from the Scourge of the Past raid. The first bit of it, specifically.

You’ll be able to get either a regular drop or a curated roll of the gun. It’s a Kinetic weapon, and it comes with Rapid-Fire Frame — this weapon is fully automatic with a bigger ammo reserve, and it reloads quicker if you’re doing it on empty, and Grave Robber — melee kills will trigger a reload for this Kinetic weapon. You’ll want to pair it with an Energy primary, and it does a whole lot of damage, particularly with the Trench Barrel perk — after a melee hit, the weapon will gain a damage, handling, and reload speed buff.

If you’re wanting to chew through enemies in PvE, we reckon that the Threat Level is a pretty great choice. It has a decent chance of rolling some very impressive perks, and it’s lon gbeen considered one of the superior drops from the Scourge of the Past raid which most of the community is very keen to move past.

Now that you’ve got our Threat Level Destiny 2 guide on hand, you’ll be well-equipped to pick up this shotgun and to decimate your foes with it. There’s still a bucketload of weapons out there for aspiring Guardians to collect, so check out our Pinnacle weapons list which has tips on how to collect every single one if you’re particularly bereft.
