All Confirmed Items and Features Coming to The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack
The main focus of the Horse Ranch expansion pack is, well, horses! Set in Chestnut Ridge, we can care for horses and explore a Western-style neighborhood, all while bonding with its local community!

Major Additions to the Horse Ranch Expansion
While horses are the main feature this time, we also get to experience other types of animals, a new neighborhood and various skills fit for the pack’s theme. Below is a list of some of the major features coming to the Horse Ranch expansion pack:
- Customizable horses with unique personality traits that you can ride around town!
- Horse care mechanics such as feeding, brushing, cleaning and training
- Mini goats and sheep!
- Hire ranch hands at the community board to get some help on your farm!
- A new neighborhood, Chestnut Ridge! It includes an Equestrian center, dance hall and residential lots, among other properties
- Nature items like Prairie Grass, Nectar and Manure to improve farming
- Riding skill for human Sims and two skills, Agility and Jumping, for horses

Create-a-Sim (CAS) Items
As is tradition with most expansions, Horse Ranch features nearly 150 new hairstyles, clothes and even customization options for your horses! There are plenty of options available, with the list below describing some examples:
- At least 18 hair and facial hair options for all life stages
- Nearly 40 customization options for horses, including ones that turn it into a unicorn!
- Three horse saddles!
- A rainbow infant onesie
- Numerous Western-themed outfits for all life stages
- Accessories like earrings, gloves and hats, including riding helmets
Furniture/Build Menu Items
The Horse Ranch expansion is just one item shy of 200 Build/Buy items, with the list below describing some of its features:
- Several horse-themed decorations for your home
- A station to make nectar!
- Six new bed designs!
- Unique kitchen decorations, including barrels, counters and stoves
- Rustic bathroom furniture!
- Numerous Western-themed floor and wall patterns
- Over a dozen new windows and several doors, including ones for barns!
- Outdoor trees and plants that fit Chestnut Ridge’s environment
