The Rarest Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator

These rates are wild!

In TCG Card Shop Simulator, everyone wants the rarest cards in the game. Players can either sell them and run their whole shop for the next month or collect them to finish their collection – maybe put them on a fancy display table. However, some players might spend hundreds of hours playing and not get a single expensive card. Well, they are the rarest card for a reason. So, what are the rarest cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator, and how do you get them?

What Are the Rarest Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator?

The Tetramon Ghost set has all the rarest cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator. Every card in the Tetramon Ghost set has a foil and non-foil version while at the same time having a white and black version. This means that every card has at least four different variations to it. For example, there are four Pigni cards: a foil and non-foil white Pigni card and a foil and non-foil black Pigni card.

As of patch 0.48, there are 80 Ghost cards in total. That means only 20 of them feature different Tetramons. The price differences between the foil and the non-foil are extraordinarily massive. A non-foil card may only go for $200-$500, while their foil versions, black or white, jump up to $12,000-$18,000.

When it comes to their drop or pull chances, they have an abysmal 0.1% chance for any Tetramon Basic set and a 0.2% on any Tetramon Destiny set. These rates are only for getting a Tetramon Ghost set and not the foil versions. Foil versions in the Tetramon Ghost set will lower those rates by a half – 0.05% and 0.1% for the Base and Destiny sets, respectively.

Any foil card in the Tetramon Ghost set basically shares the moniker “the rarest card” in TCG Card Shop Simulator.

How to Get the Rarest Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator

Since the highest chance to get a card from the Ghost set is through opening Destiny set packs, you only want to open the most expensive Destiny pack you have available. Getting the licensing may cost some money, but it’ll pay off in the long run. As long as you keep selling the cards you pull, you should be profiting from pack openings. If you don’t sell them, you are definitely losing money as you open more packs.

If you open packs a lot, you should invest in multiple card tables so you can sell more cards at a time. Some of the most expensive cards sell instantly, but only if you have the appropriate shop level. Since the customer’s purchasing power is tied to your shop level, you need to level up to sell the expensive cards.
