How to Sell Expensive Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator

Time to get those full art foils!

In TCG Card Shop Simulator, the most underrated way of making money is by selling singles, or cards one by one. You would be surprised you can make thousands of dollars selling cards alone, and you even have a chance to get one of the “jackpot” cards from the Tetramon Ghost set, giving you upwards of $10,000. If you ever get those types of cards, you might be curious why they aren’t selling, and no, it isn’t because expensive cards are harder to sell. Here’s how to sell those expensive cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator.

How to Sell Your Tetramon Ghost Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator

Before selling an expensive card, you need to get one first. Ripping open any pack has a chance to give you a card from the Tetramon Ghost set, where most of the expensive cards are. You have a 0.02% chance of getting one out of each card pull, and it’ll take a lot of packs before you can get one.

If you happen to get one of these Tetramon Ghost Full Art Legendary Foil cards, you want to put the on a Card Table and set a market price immediately. You can buy a Card Table from your phone and place the cards individually on the table. Don’t buy the Card Display Table or anything with the word “display” on it because you can’t sell cards on those displays.

Once you have the expensive card on the Card Table, you’ll have to wait until a customer buys it. This is where it gets tricky because there are some situations in which they actually never sell.

Selling expensive cards is basically tied to a customer’s purchasing power. In TCG Card Shop Simulator, the customers’ purchasing power is dictated by your shop’s total expansion and shop level. I tried testing these mechanics out because I was lucky enough to get a $11,000 card around day 20-25. The card literally never sold until day 121, but I made multiple save files to test out the mechanics.

The only way I was able to sell it was when I reached shop level 35. I tested it out for three different save files and the expensive card sold 1-3 days after I reached shop level 35. There were no shop expansions, but I already had the max expansion for the current shop level in all save files.

With this in mind, you’ll have to rush to shop level 35 or above to sell those expensive cards. Now, it also doesn’t matter what you put on the price, but obviously, if you put a ridiculous price, they won’t sell. You should aim for a +10% markup for the card to maximize profit.

How to Get More Expensive Cards in TCG Card Shop Simulator

The best way to get more expensive cards is by opening packs. The only way you can open packs is to have your shop running on its own, meaning you have multiple workers restocking and manning the counter.

So, when you have the free time to open packs, which ones do you open to maximize profit? Since the most expensive cards are in the Tetramon Ghost set, and you can get them from any Tetramon pack, you can basically open any pack you want to get these cards.

However, there are some valuable cards outside of the Tetramon Ghost set, which will add up if you open hundreds or thousands of packs. The rule is to open the most expensive card pack you have unlocked since they’ll provide the most value for your time.

When you are opening packs, you’ll always be at a “profit” because it is easy to sell the cards and you’ll get an average cost of more than the value you bought for the pack. So, if you want more expensive cards, rip open the best packs and let your workers run the shop.
