The First Berserker Khazan Save File Location on PC

More precious than all your Lacrima!

The First Berserker: Khazan is now out for anyone who purchased the Deluxe Edition across all platforms. The title is developed on Unreal Engine 4 and runs quite well across the board. The PC version in particular comes packed with several settings and support for upscaling technologies as well.

It also has support for cloud saves on PC so you can pick up your progress on different devices without a hitch. That said, if you’re looking for your local data and want to manually move the files, here is the save file location for The First Berserker: Khazan.

The save files are stored in the folder with your 64-bit Steam ID. This will be obvious when you open the “SaveGames” folder, which will have another folder that’s a string of numbers. Inside it, you’ll find the save files for the demo, the main game and your profile settings as well.

There are several backup save files as well, so even if your main data gets corrupted for any reason, you can use those to restore your progress. My recommendation for backing up is to copy the entire “The First Berserker Khazan” folder and not the individual Steam folder. That way you can just paste this whenever you need it in the future.

You can access the same location by entering the following address in Windows Run or File Explorer.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\The First Berserker Khazan\Saved\SaveGames

Does The First Berserker Khazan Have Steam Cloud Support?

Yes, The First Berserk has Steam Cloud support, which means that if you’re also playing the game on the Steam Deck or a different PC, your saved data will be accessible easily. The save files are less than an MB in size

Since this is an Unreal Engine 4 title, the performance on the Steam Deck is quite decent. You can easily target 30-40 FPS here without major visual compromises. Given the lengthy nature of the title, the Steam Deck is an excellent way to enjoy extended sessions.
