All Seasons
Moonfruit Seeds – grows over 6 days and yields 3x per harvest. Magical Crop.
Moonfruits are among the best magical crops to grow because they’re very versatile. It grows fast and profits around 65 coins per seed. However, profits increase if you turn the Moonfruit Seeds into Mana Moon Jams using the Jam Maker. The recipe does require Sugar and Mana Essence for each, which is why it sells for more, but it is also useful for refreshing your mana, as Mana Moon Jams give you energy and 2 mana when consumed.
Coffee Bean or Cacao Bean Tree Seeds – Trees that are just pure profits and easily processed to better recipes. Tree seeds can be pricey, but it pays off really soon.
Onion Seeds – grow over 4 days and yield 1x per harvest.
Onion Seeds are perfect for those late-season shift harvests. If you have only a couple of days left until the next season and you are afraid other crops might not make it in time for harvest and get destroyed, just use Onion Seeds. These are also used in some dishes, making it useful if you have the other ingredients. Good thing food doesn’t spoil, right?
Wily Wheat Seeds – grow over 4 days and yield 1x per harvest.
Wily Wheat Seeds grow extremely quickly and are easily profitable when turned into Beer using Kegs. The seeds are cheap as well, making this the laziest approach to making money without even trying to think.
Seasonal
White Grape Seeds (Fall and Summer) – grow over 5 days and yield 3x per harvest. Regrows after 4 nights for reharvesting.
White Grape Seeds are your go-to early cash cow. They regrow so you don’t have to buy seeds until it goes out of season. They grow during fall and summer, giving you 60 days’ worth of harvest. However, don’t sell the White Grapes. The reason these are easy and profitable is that they can easily be turned into wine using a keg. Blood Grape Seeds are similar, but they sell for a little less.
Gobbler Seeds (Summer) – grow over 6 days and yield 1x per harvest. Magical Crop.
Gobbler Seeds are the best magical crop to gain Mana Essences. However, there’s a big catch to growing these bad boys. Before becoming ready for harvest, you’ll need to feed each Gobbler crop a fish or a bug. The requirements for whether you need a fish or a bug are completely random, so you might be trying to grow 20x Gobbler Seeds, and 15 of them might want fish, or the other way around. For this, you want to start fishing and catching bugs to stockpile food for Gobblers, which takes a lot of energy and time. On top of that, Gobblers are a magical crop that require the Aquaflux spell to water. The trade-off is massive, though. Each Gobbler (no quality) gives 400% or basically 4x Mana Essences from the Mana Extractor. The seeds are also expensive, but they also sell for a lot, giving you a 200 coin profit for each harvest, making it one of the best crops to grow in the game.
Dark Strawberry Seeds (Winter) – grow over 9 days and yield 3x per harvest. Regrows in 3 nights after harvesting. Magical Crop.
Dark Strawberries are very profitable mainly because they can regrow, produce sells for more, and can easily be processed using Kegs. However, the downside is that it only grows during Winter, only giving you a total of 30 days for growing it, or basically 8 total harvests if planted on the first day of winter.
Pumpkin Seeds (Autumn) – grow over 9 days and yield 1x per harvest.
Pumpkins have a good profit ratio, but you’ll mainly grow them for certain recipes, giving as gifts, or just having Pumpkins available at your home. They sell for 220 coins each, which is a lot already, even if the seeds cost 90 coins. It is still perfect to grow them, and you should definitely use some fertilizers to maximize the quality to earn more profits from this.
You can also capitalize on all of these by investing in multiple barns and self-sustaining your fertilizer. Fertilizer increases the quality of your harvest and makes it more useful or sell for a higher value.
