Temtem Starters Guide – Crystle, Smazee, and Houchic

One of the first choices you will have to make in Temtem is which of the starters will you choose.

The new Pokemon-like MMO title of Temtem has quickly captured the attention of many players following its release into Early Access. Players who dive into this MMO game will be able to choose from a group of different starters to be their first companion in the new adventure they are undertaking. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about these starters covered for you!

Temtem Starters

There are a total of three different starts that players have the option to choose from when they are beginning the title. These three starters are known as Crystle, Smazee, and Houchic. Each of these starters also has a three-stage evolutionary chain when compared to many other characters who only have two-chain evolutionary chains. Unfortunately, the third evolution of the evolutionary chains for each of the game’s starters is currently unknown. 

Crystle

Crystle is a Crystal-type creature that will evolve into the character known as Sherald after 30 levels. According to the official description of this creature, “Native to Tucma, Crystle is akin to smaragdine turtles, but they are actually closer to minerals than to fauna. Cute but tough, they are an excellent introductory Crystal Temtem for rookie tamers.” 

You can find all of the techniques this member of the starters can learn below:

  • Glass Blade
  • Mirror Shell
  • Nibble
  • Crystal Dust
  • Head Ram
  • Crystallize
  • Crystal Spikes
  • Rampage

Smazee

Smazee is a Melee-type creature that will evolve into the character known as Baboong after 29 levels. According to the official description of this creature, “These little darlings have been bred for generations as playmates and babysitters for children – although capable fighters, Smazee are naturally cheerful and love playing and monkeying around.”

You can find all of the techniques this member of the starters can learn below:

  • Kick
  • Martial Strike
  • Tail Strike
  • Sand Splatter
  • Show Off
  • Uppercut
  • Intimidation
  • Perfect Jab
  • Heat Up
  • Stone Wall
  • Misogi
  • Earth Wave

Houchic

Houchic is a Mental-type creature that will evolve into the character known as Tental after 29 levels. According to the official description of this creature, “Clever but somehow naive, the gentle Houchic are ideal as the first Mental Temtem for novice trainers. They are emphatic and intuitive, capable of understanding the subtleties of mentalism.”

  • Hypnosis
  • Psy Wave
  • Kick
  • Tenderness
  • Energy Manipulation
  • Telekinetic Shrapnel
  • Beta Burst
  • Psy Surge
  • Humiliating Slap
  • Lullaby
