There are so many heroes to unlock, synergies to explore, and augments to experiment with. Here are some of the best teams you can follow for TFT’s Set 16 Lore and Legends.

S Tier Teams

The list will be updated throughout the duration of the set.

Yordle

The Yordle team comp is one of the easiest to play since you can get 8 Yordles easily, with 10 of them available in the set. There’s even an Augment that unlocks the Prismatic Yordle 10, making it one of the strongest traits in the set.

Fielding 4/6/8 Yordles keeps helping you get more Yordles per round. You can still play the game relying on some max interest strategies, but you want to play or spend for potential power spikes, such as getting a gold Yordle when you are close to getting one.

Your preferred carry is Fizz since he absolutely shreds the backline. Add an Edge of Night to avoid getting sniped, so Fizz can surely focus on the enemy’s ranged carries and finish the job.

Bilgewater

Bilgewater is one of the strongest teams in the set. You’ll want to level up fast and get those crucial units like Tahm Kench, Miss Fortune, and Fizz.

The team gains eco from the trait, so it can be slightly faster than other teams, especially when paired with good augments. When you get to level 9 or 10, you can remix the team and add some strong units like Lucian (to pair Gunslinger with Miss Fortune) or Ornn to add another thick tank while activating Warden with Nautilus.

Fizz is also amazing to build since he can go to the backline – the same reason you make him the carry with Yordle.

Noxus

Noxus is a strong, all-around team centered on Atakhan. Noxus gains an extra Atakhan unit, and there are even augments that permanently make him stronger throughout the match.

Fielding Noxus early gives you a strong early game because of decent frontline units like Briar and Sion. If you get Draven early, you can activate a few Quickstrikers and try to capitalize on the extra gold from his skill.

You’ll eventually transition to an Ambessa and Swain carry and try to build Noxus 7 quickly. If you get some items great for an AP carry, you can build Leblanc instead.

A Tier Teams

Demacia

Demacia is in an odd position since it is quite weak to average in the early game until you reach Garen and Lux. However, Demacia also holds one of the strongest Prismatic traits, but requires you to reach Demacia 11 with a couple of emblems.

You want to build around Lux for AP damage while Garen acts as a tank instead of a bruiser, along with Swain, giving you one of the thickest frontline units in any team. The goal is to shield your Lux and hold them off.

You can add additional carries like Vayne alongside Kai’Sa, but it requires you to unlock these units.

B Tier Teams

Ixtal

Ixtal is one of the greedy traits that rely on giving you massive rewards instead of being strong on the board. You’ll need to finish quests to get Sunshards, and the total Sunshards you get can be exchanged for a massive reward after finishing a quest. The biggest threshold for good rewards is 500 and 800, which is insanely hard to get.

It is one of the weakest teams since it relies on luck, mainly from getting Ixtal 3 before the player rounds even begin.

The team is weak early, and it would rely on a Milio carry or maybe a Targon to help survive a little. Get Neeko and try to unlock Skarner quickly. Get Ixtal 5 to heal player health so you can afford to lose more. Focus on high-risk quests like “lose 3 rounds in a row,” but make sure you can finish the quest. If you can’t, the reward will forever get stuck since you have to finish a quest before claiming the reward.
