In Destiny 2’s Summoning Ritual raid challenge, players have a chance to earn themselves a very powerful engram by completing the Kalli fight in the Last Wish raid while meeting certain requirements. In this article we’ll show you how to complete the Summoning Ritual challenge in the Last Wish raid in Destiny 2 so you can move on to the next batch of challenges.
How to Complete Summoning Ritual Last Wish Raid Challenge
If players want to complete this challenge, then they’re going to need to know what they’re doing in the Kalli portion of the Last Wish raid. It’s imperative that you be able to complete this part of the raid, as clearing it with the specific requirements is the only way to complete the challenge.
Basically, this challenge requires that players activate all nine of the plates around the perimeter of the Kalli fight location. Doing this will spawn a Ferocious Ogre, that must be defeated. You’ll need to find this Ogre as each time you undertake a new phase in the battle with Kalli, which means if you and your Fireteam can fight and defeat Kalli in one go, then you’ll only need to defeat the Ogre once. However, if you must complete more than one phase, you’ll need to re-summon the Ogre and defeat it each time that a new phase of the battle begins.
Now, normally, during this fight you would only activate the plates with the matching symbols. However, for the purpose of this challenge you are going to need to activate all 9 of the plates in order to spawn the Ogre in so that you can kill it. The beast itself has a Power level around 580 Power, so make sure you have the right gear to take it down quite easily, as you’ll still need to focus on the main portions of the fight as well.
Once you have defeated the Ogre, focus your attention on Kalli and take down the boss as quickly as possible, otherwise you’ll end up having to complete the process once more. Once you’ve killed the Ogre and then subsequently defeated Kalli, you’ll be able to continue on having completed this challenge for Hawthorne.
