How Much Does StarRupture Cost in Early Access?

StarRupture is priced at $19.99 / €19,99 / £16.99 / 64,99 zł during its early access period and will be discounted to $15.99 / €15,99 / £13.59 / 51,99 zł for a limited time at launch.

There isn’t confirmation of the discount duration, but I’m guessing it will be around a week. Creepy Jar have released a dedicated price trailer for StarRupture, thanks to all the speculation leading up to its release, which you can watch below:

If you’re interested in the game, I highly recommend making use of that launch discount which brings the price down by 20%.

The developers haven’t commented directly on any price increase after its 1.0 release but they have mentioned in the early access FAQ on Steam that they “reserve the possibility of increasing the price of the game as the game expands” and it isn’t unusual for full releases to be a bit more expensive than the early access price.

StarRupture Release Date

StarRupture is launching in early access on Steam on January 6, 2026. You can check when it launches in your region by following our handy countdown timer.

The developers have confirmed on Steam that they plan to keep it in early access for at least a year. Make sure to check out the system requirements as well. StarRupture is launching exclusively on PC at the moment and there is no word on a console release, which isn’t unsual for most early access titles.

$20 for an automation, exploration and open-world survival game is pretty fair and is what you can expect from similar releases as well. Based on my experience with the review build so far, I’m happy to report that StarRupture is launching in a very polished state with plenty of systems already working to provide a fun survival and base-building experience.
