StarRupture is launching early next year, and it’s the latest open-world project from the developers of the survival title, Green Hell. The base-building adventure is coming to PC as an early access release and is only a few weeks away from launch.

StarRupture is launching exclusively on Steam on January 6, 2026. Early access titles on Steam have a global release time, and you can start playing at 2 PM UTC. I’ve set up a countdown timer for StarRupture, which you can follow regardless of your region.

StarRupture Early Access Launch State
At the launch of early access, StarRupture will have a majority of the planned features present, allowing for world exploration, gathering resources, building machines that can mine, harvest, create, and assemble. All of this can be played in four-player online co-op.
The full 1.0 release will have more biomes, enemies, building mechanics, and a story mode. Basically, the core features are already present in the release and will continue to be expanded upon with more polish.
Can you pre-order StarRupture?
No, since this is an early access title, StarRupture can’t be pre-ordered and will be available to purchase when it launches into early access on January 6, 2026.
