How to Find the Adoring Fan in Starfield

To initially unlock the Adoring Fan, you must choose Hero Worshipped as one of your three starting traits in the character creator. After starting the game, completing Starfield’s introductory quest, One Small Step, and arriving at New Atlantis’ Lodge on Alpha Centauri, you’ll encounter the Adoring Fan in the Spaceport, running toward you and asking to join you on your space adventures.

If you accept the request, he’ll follow you around and join your crew. Otherwise, rejecting him will cause him to linger in the area until you leave, with him staying in New Atlantis until you return and invite him to your crew.

The Adoring Fan also has the following crew member traits:

  • Scavenging – Level One
  • Concealment – Level One
  • Weight Lifting – Level Two

With this in mind, he’s particularly useful at holding items for you, as he has a higher carrying capacity than most characters. His scavenging skill also gives higher chances of finding additional credits in storage containers, while concealment improves sneak attack damage.

How to Find the Adoring Fan After Rejecting Him in Starfield

If you initially reject the Adoring Fan’s proposal to join your crew or dismiss him at any point throughout your playthrough, you can find him at Terrabrew in New Atlantis. The Terrabrew building is next to Jemison Mercantile in the Spaceport. You’ll find him on the far side of the cafe, sitting at a table alone, awaiting your arrival.
