Starfield: Power Grid Solution for Tapping the Grid in The Well

Bzzt bzzt bzzt

Brown outs are wracking The Well, and the man who’s supposed to be handling it hasn’t shown up. And while you might be happy to stand in Carl’s shoes, what might impede your progress is the power grid that’s keeping you from reaching the next junction box. Here’s how to solve the Power Grid puzzle in Tapping the Grid in Starfield.

Starfield: Power Grid Solution for Tapping the Grid in The Well

Louisa’s really desperate for help. And you just happen to love doing random side quests. It’s a match made in heaven! And while the quest has you running all over the Well to flip switches in Junction Boxes, one might prove harder to access than the others. And that’s the Junction Box over the Trade Authority, which is behind a door that can only be accessed by solving a Power Grid puzzle.

Fortunately, solving that puzzle is pretty easy.

All you have to do is turn off all four switches except for the first one. Leave the first one with its green light on. Once that’s complete, it should look like so: GREEN – RED – RED RED.

The door will then open, granting you access to the very last junction box.

Once you flip that, speak to Louisa Reyez at the monitoring station where you first encountered her. Or so she’ll say! She’s actually in a monitoring booth that’s exactly opposite the Med Bay on the main road. Head inside, and you’ll find that the Power Drain is actually coming from the Trade Authority.

And for your trouble, you’ll get 2000 Credits plus some experience.
