Try not to splat yourself if you toggle this one on.

If you’re hoping to either use Fall Damage to your benefit or your dismay, you’ll find it in the Gameplay settings available within the game. However, if you’re not sure where to go, we’ve got you covered:

  • Press the Options Button (Pause Screen)
  • Select Settings
  • Select Gameplay

Once you are in the Gameplay menu, you’ll want to scroll down to the bottom. There’s a massive list of things you can change, from your general difficulty level to the way that the world around you responds to your actions. At the bottom, you’ll find the toggle for Fall Damage.

Why, exactly, would you want to turn on fall damage? Well, it’s going to make the act of Webswinging even more exciting since you’ll need to take careful consideration of how you’re landing, especially from great heights. However, if you’re hoping to keep the game feeling relatively carefree when it comes to exploring the enhanced version of New York within, you may want to turn it back off. It’s more of a personal preference since a mistaken jump with few buildings around you could lead to your untimely demise.

No matter if you’re feeling like the ultimate webslinger, or you just need to know where all those pesky Spiderbots are hiding, we’ve got you covered in our Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 section below. Be sure to swing on in and see if we can’t help you get past that tricky part of the game that you’ve found yourself in, or just to find out what kind of cosmetic offerings are available to you as you progress through the game.
