Slay the Spire 2 Save File Location on PC
Protect these!
Slay the Spire 2 is out now in early access on PC, and the developers intend to keep it in that state for a while. During this time, the game will receive several improvements and possible revisions.
That said, if you’re looking for your local progress, here is the save file location for Slay the Spire 2.
Slay the Spire 2 Save File Location
| Client | Save File Location |
|---|---|
| Steam | C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[Steam ID]\2868840\remote |
Unlike the first title, the save files for Slay the Spire 2 are actually found inside the Steam installation folder. Inside userdata, after you open the folder with your unique Steam ID, you need to open the folder 2868840, which is the dedicated ID for Slay the Spire 2. Inside it, you’ll see a remote folder, which contains your save files. Each profile has a dedicated folder, which means that it’s properly organized.
This is a pretty important folder because, during early access, you might need to share it with the developers if you want to provide any feedback. For backup purposes, I recommend copying the entire 2868840 folder if you need it.
