Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart has a ton of weapons in your arsenal to crush any enemy in your way. Sometimes changing your weapons on the fly can be a little tricky; luckily there’s a shortcut on the D-Pad to help you out. Here’s how to change your weapon shortcuts on the D-Pad.

Ratchet And Clank Rift Apart | How To Change Weapon Shortcuts

First off, there are two different weapon shortcut wheels in Ratchet and Clank. The D-Pad acts as a quick swap between four other weapons while holding down the triangle button. This wheel will have eight different options on it to give you more options in a fight.

If you want to change the D-Pad shortcuts for faster swapping, simply open up the big weapon wheel by holding triangle, select the weapon you wish to add to the D-Pad, then click that direction on the D-Pad while the weapon wheel is open to swap it.

If the weapon you’re looking for isn’t on the big wheel, go into the menu with the touchpad, scroll up to the weapon tab, and find the weapon you wish to add from the list. From here, just click the X button to remap it to one of the slots on the wheel.

It’s a little convoluted but becomes second nature once you know all of the moving pieces for it.

Well, that’s everything you need to know about how to switch weapon shortcuts in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. For more guides, news, and coverage, check out Prima Games and our official Twitter and Facebook pages.
