PowerWash Simulator 2 is available now on PC and console and is part of the Xbox Game Pass catalog. However, it’s currently bugged on PC, and if you can’t see it available for download as part of the subscription, you’re not alone.

Until the teams sort this out, you can start playing PowerWash Simulator 2 if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, through a quick workaround.

Workaround – PowerWash Simulator 2 for PC Game Pass

Even if you’ve subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, PowerWash Simulator 2 will appear as a purchasable title instead of a Game Pass catalog title on the Xbox App on Windows. However, it is available to download through the Microsoft Store, where you can download from and start playing right now.

Here’s how it works:

  • Open the Microsoft Store in Windows and search for PowerWash Simulator 2.
  • Open the game’s store page, and you’ll see the option to download it like any other Game Pass title. From there, download it and start playing!

Multiple users have confirmed that this works for them and they’re able to start playing. Since both the Microsoft Store and Xbox App are connected to the same account, your subscriptions and purchases are shared.

I hope that whatever issue this is, it is resolved soon by Microsoft because players have been waiting for a while to get their hands on the sequel. I’m going to chalk it up to the Xbox App being buggy as usual.

PowerWash Simulator 2 is easily one of my favorite releases of the year, and I think it being on Game Pass means that a lot of people will at least give it a shot to see what they’re missing.

Game Pass users have had a pretty stacked month with plenty of new releases like Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Football Manager 26. It’s not over yet, as The Outer Worlds 2 is also coming to the subscription service in a few months, along with a new title published by Annapurna Interactive, Bounty Star. That said, Game Pass is becoming less attractive because of the recent subscription price increase, but if you’re already subscribed, it’s hard to understate its value.
