Can You Rebind Controls in PowerWash Simulator 2?

No, you can’t rebind controls in PowerWash Simulator 2. You’ll have to get used to either the modern or classic preset for both keyboard and mouse or controllers. It’s a bit of a letdown since there are plenty of functions, and it would’ve been nice to bind them to your liking.

PowerWash Simulator 2 Controller Support on PC

On PC, PowerWash Simulator 2 has native support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers with appropriate button prompts for each controller type.

If you’re having any problem with your controllers not working properly, disable Steam Input for PowerWash Simulator 2.

  • Make sure PowerWash Simulator 2 isn’t running.
  • Open Steam and navigate to your library.
  • Here, right-click on PowerWash Simulator 2 and select Properties.
  • In the Controller tab, select the Disable Steam Input option under Override for PowerWash Simulator 2

My hope for future updates is that the developers consider adding button remapping. It’s the only thing holding back the controls customization in PowerWash Simulator 2.
