Pokemon GO Regigigas Raid Guide

Regigigas is, as you may already know, a Normal Type Legendary Titan. It’s the big daddy of the Hoenn titans, which means that it’s definitely going to take more than a sneeze to knock this oversized mossy rock over at any given point in time. Because of it’s typing, you’re going to want to make sure that you have a well-rounded coterie of Fighting Pokemon ready to lay the beatdown on him, and that you’re resolutely avoiding Ghost Types as well in your search for a good team. We’ve got some pointers on counters, and we’re going to list them out below along with recommended moves:

  • Blaziken – Counter, Focus Blast
  • Hariyama – Counter, Dynamic Punch
  • Heracross – Counter, Close Combat
  • Machamp – Counter, Dynamic Punch
  • Toxicroak – Counter, Dynamic Punch

As you’ll note from our recommendation, we’ve ridden the Fighting Type tree hard and Dynamic Punch is absolutely going to be essential here if you’re wanting to make real headway. You could alternatively take in a Pokemon like Breloom, though we would put Machamp at the top of our list when it comes to combat effectiveness and the ability to take it.

Now that you’ve had a browse of our Pokemon GO Regigigas raid guide, it shouldn’t be tough at all to ensure that you’re taking down Regigigas and keeping that big machine down, assuming that you have a souped up team of counters. There’s plenty of other raids out there that might also make you feel like you’ve bitten off more than you can chew, including the likes of Armored Mewtwo (which we have a guide for right here), so we reckon you won’t be short of challenges! Need a hand with anything else in Pokemon GO, check out these tips and tricks that we’ve put together for your reference:
