Pokemon GO February Community Day Guide

As mentioned, the lucky featured Pokemon for this month’s Community Day is the amazing Rhyhorn. For lovers of this rocky little bugger, you’ll have plenty to look forward to: it’s not just going to be more Rhyhorns all the time (we’re talking Raid Battles and obviously just as you’re wandering around your neighborhood), it’s also going to be Shiny Rhyhorns.

Sure, we can’t guarantee that the latter will be easy to find, but all you’re going to need is a good pair of walking shoes and patience to be successful. You’ll also be seeing increases on the amount of Stardust that you get for catching Pokemon to the tune of 300%, so make sure that you’ve got the right equipment to go on a catching spree.

When is Community Day? It’s going to kick off very soon on February 22, which is really only a handful of days away so get prepping, Trainer! The Community Day-exclusive move this month is going to be Rock Wrecker and you’ll get it on your team if you can evolve your Rhydon into a Rhyperior on Community Day. Note that you can use any basic Rhydon for this exercise, so start stocking your candies and sorting out some worthy candidates for that killer move! The event will run for 3 hours, and players will have up to 2 hours after that to fulfill the evolution requirements to get Rock Wrecker so time isn’t as tight as you might think.
