How to Get Tirtouga in Pokemon GO Fossil Event

Niantic surprised the Pokemon GO community when it revealed a new Fossil Event that would allow Trainers to acquire some unique characters through the hatching of eggs. One of these unique characters that are now available for players to obtain through the Fossil Event is the one and only Tirtouga. Tirtouga Pokemon GO Fossil Event

This new activity currently has it to where only a group of specific characters can hatch from 7 km eggs. Tirtouga is one of these characters who will be hatching from 7 km eggs during the duration of the Fossil Event for the fan-favorite game.

Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed way of making sure that your 7 km egg hatches into a Tirtouga. Trainers will have to pray to the RNG gods and hope that the next 7 km egg they hatch during the Fossil activity produces the lovable tortoise creature so that they can add the character to their team for future adventures. 

Niantic has not yet revealed an end to the Fossil event, so there is currently no set timetable for how long this character will be able to hatch from 7 km eggs at a much higher chance. With this in mind, individuals who are wanting to add the turtle to their teams will need to try and hatch as many 7 km eggs as they can during this period for the best chance of getting a Tirtouga.
