Even fancier than Fancy Boots.

If you’ve ever looked at a pair of Fancy Boots and thought they could be even fancier, you’re in luck, as now you can obtain some Fancier Boots in Old School RuneScape. These ludicrously bright boots can also be found in the Stronghold of Security in OSRS, but there’s a catch.

How to Get Fancier Boots in OSRS

Fancy Boots are a great boot for beginning and low-level OSRS players to wear due to not only the benefits that they provide but also the ease of obtainment. Not only are they free, and have no level requirement, but they are quite easy to obtain. One just needs to make their way to the fourth level of the Stronghold of Security and loot the final chest to find a pair. As long as you have a little food, and you run past enemies, even a player fresh from Tutorial Island can quite easily obtain a pair of Fancy Boots.

But what about Fancier Boots? Well, they are obtained in the same manner as the Fancy Boots. When you open the Cradle of Life on the final floor, you will now have the option to choose between Fancy Boots, Fighting Boots, and Fancier Boots. Fancier Boots have the benefits of both Fancy Boots and Fighting Boots combined. Clearly the best option.

However, you can only obtain these if you have a Jagex Account with two-factor authentication. Jagex has been pushing Jagex Accounts hard, and it will not be too long until they are mandatory. So, it’s really up to you if you want to move over to a Jagex Account now and reap the benefits or wait until it is mandatory to do so. To change over to a Jagex Account, simply log into RuneScape, navigate to your account settings, and click on Upgrade to begin the process.

Once completed, you’ll be able to grab your Fancier Boots from the Cradle of Life and live your best pixelated life. Feeling fashionable is a great confidence boost and maybe you’ll even feel brave enough to take down some Wyrms in RuneScape.
