The next set of tradeable stickers is about to be released in Monopoly GO, and players with plenty of duplicates may wonder what will happen to these cards at the start of the next sticker event. Do they vanish into the void, or is your hard work rewarded?

What Happens to Duplicate Stickers in Monopoly GO

At the start of the newest seasonal sticker event, all of your stickers and stars will be wiped. You’ll be starting off with a clean slate, so you can start collecting a new batch of Stickers and working toward a new set of rewards. While this may be unfortunate, especially if you’ve collected a large variety of different stickers, you’ll have the chance to start building up your stockpile once again.

It looks like the newest seasonal sticker event as of the time of this writing, Heartfelt Holidays, is a shorter season. Players will hopefully have an easier time getting their hands on stickers this time around, especially since specific ones like Oh My Gems caused plenty of headaches last event. Let’s just hope they’ve increased the odds for all the cards this time around, because the rewards are looking rather nice.

Thankfully, this will give us a great chance to start stocking up on dice again, and make the pain of landing on a 1-Star Sticker pack less abrasive than normal. It’s a great opportunity to revisit the world of Monopoly GO if you’ve been out of the loop for a while, and it’s guaranteed to bring plenty of fun and holiday cheer your way.

When is the Next Sticker Event in Monopoly GO?

At the time of writing, the current Monopoly GO seasonal sticker event is Heartfelt Holidays which will last between December 1st to January 4th. This gives you 34 days to collect all of the event’s seasonal stickers and complete the album. The Heartfelt Holidays album contains 12 different sets, each with nine unique stickers collect. Once the event ends on January 4th, you’ll need to start fresh with a new album.
