What Is The 6, 7, 8 Method In Monopoly GO?

Want to change the odds into your favor? Let's help you out with that.

Monopoly GO is a rather fun game, but it sometimes feels like luck isn’t on your side no matter what you do. Thankfully, the 6, 7, 8 method may help change the tide in your favor, so let’s get mathematical and see if this works for you.

How To Save More Dice & Get More Rewards In Monopoly GO

Mathematically speaking, you’re more statistically probable to land on either a 6, 7, or 8 when you’re rolling two dice than any other numbers available. With dice being a limited commodity within the world of Monopoly GO, you may be looking to maximize your use-to-reward ratio to the fullest extent, and we’re here to help with that.

As you move around the board normally, just use the smallest multiplier available. Pay attention to your position on the board, and once you have found yourself within the space that you’re hoping to hit, be it a Railroad, a Utility Building, or a Chance spot. If you notice that you have either 6, 7, or 8 spaces in between your current spot and the spot you’re hoping to land on, increase your multiplier. You can go all in and put it at its highest available, or play it safe as you learn this method.

Before you roll, be sure to change the multiplier and roll the dice as you normally would. There is about a 43 to 45% chance that you’ll land on this particular space, given the number of rolls that could equal up to the particular number that you’re aiming for. It’s not perfect, and you still may find yourself landing on other spaces oftentimes, but any way that you can push the stakes in your direction is better than leaving it up to luck, in my eyes. Once you have landed on the spot you were hoping to hit or anything beyond that, pay attention to your spaces and adjust your multiplier as expected.

This method is going to require that you’re paying close attention to your device as if you leave it on Auto Roll, you’re going to miss out on great opportunities to hopefully sway the odds in your favor. It’s not a 100% guarantee, so you can try it, see if it works, and continue either using this method or discontinuing its use once you’ve experimented enough.
