Minecraft Dungeons Hero Cape: How to Unlock

Simply put, to get the Hero Cape in Minecraft Dungeons, you’ll need to have purchased the Hero Edition of the game or purchase the Hero Pass separately. Both of these things will give players access to both upcoming DLCs, two skins, a pet chicken, and the Hero Cape.

If you’ve yet to purchase the game, you can order the Hero Edition for $30, which includes the base game and everything mentioned above. However, if you’ve already bought the game, or are playing on Game Pass, you can simply purchase the Hero Pass to get access to all the above rewards.

After you have purchased the pack, you can equip the Minecraft Dungeons Hero Cape by following four simple steps:

  1. Open your inventory
  2. Navigate to the Cosmetics tab
  3. Select the Hero Cape
  4. Press equip

It’s worth emphasizing that if you’re playing on Game Pass, you can still get the Hero Cape for your character. Simply head to the Xbox Store and search for Minecraft Dungeons. Tab over to the Add-Ons page and look for the Hero Pass. Simply purchase the pass and restart your game and you should find that you now have access to the coveted cape!

When you’ve done that, back out of your inventory and you’ll find that your character is equipped with a cool looking cape! Now, as you explore all of the secret levels and complete the in-game achievements, you can do it in style. After all, everyone looks better with a cape.

If you’re a long time Minecraft fan, you’re probably aware that Dungeons puts a new, unique twist on the series, as it’s mainly a story-focused game. As players make their way through the ten different episodes, they’ll explore randomly generated dungeons and can find all kinds of unique items in the process.

Further, players can bring a couple of friends with them on their journey, as Minecraft Dungeons supports up to four players. If you’re having trouble inviting friends to your game, make sure that the host has completed the tutorial level, as this has caused a lot of issues for some. If you’re still having trouble, make sure everyone in your party has completed the tutorial level. If you want to stand out, be sure to equip your Hero Cape.
