Mega Garchomp Pokémon GO Debut: Raid Day and Time, Event Bonuses, and More

Mega Garchomp Raid Day and Time

Mega Garchomp will make its Pokémon GO debut in Mega Raids during Mega Garchomp Raid Day on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. 

Can Mega Garchomp be Shiny?

After defeating Mega Garchomp in a Mega Raid, the Garchomp players encounter afterward has an increased chance to be shiny. 

Mega Garchomp Raid Day Event Bonuses

During Mega Garchomp Raid Day, the following event bonuses will be in effect:

• On November 11 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM local time, the Remote Raid Pass daily limit will be increased from five to 10.
• Players can receive up to five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
• There is an increased chance of encountering a shiny Garchomp after defeating Mega Garchomp in a Mega Raid.

Mega Garchomp Raid Day Event Exclusive Ticket

For $5 USD, or the equivalent pricing tier in the player’s local currency, players can buy an event ticket to unlock the following event bonuses effective from November 11 at 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time:

• Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms, for a daily total of 14. 
• 50% additional XP from Raid Battles.
• An increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.
