If you want to take out foes quickly and from far away, then a strong sniper rifle is your best bet. Many players have been trying to figure out which weapon, out of all those up for grabs, is the best available to them. In this article we’ll discuss what we believe to be the best sniper rifle in Mass Effect: Andromeda, and walk you through everything you need to know to obtain it.
The Best Sniper Rifles in Mass Effect: Andromeda
The best sniper rifle in Mass Effect: Andromeda is the Isharay. It’s an Angaran design that uses Plasma rounds and can be researched using Heleus Research Data Points.
The first iteration of it will cost players 125 Research Data Points. It’s default damage output is 646, and it has a max ammunition count of 14. Its base weight is 55, though, so it may be a bit heavy for some players depending on their chosen abilities and powers.
We believe that this sniper rifle is the best based wholly upon the stats that it holds. It has the highest damage out of any sniper rifle when fully upgraded. It does have a fairly high cost, though, and we’ve provided all of that information below.
Isharay Sniper Rifle Development Cost:
- 20 Angaran Meditation Crystal
- 24 Shell Filaments
- 50 Fluorite
- 10 Vanadium
While this is the strongest sniper rifle available, some players may find themselves in need of an automatic sniper rifle like the M-90 Indra. While it doesn’t boast the same damage output as the Isharay, it does offer a max clip size of 25, and has one of the highest fire rates available in the game. It also has room for 3 Augmentation slots, and the first iteration can be researched for 125 Milky Way Research Data Points.
While the M-90 Indra is a fully automatic sniper rifle, it still boasts one of the highest accuracy stats available on any of the long-range weapons that players can research and develop. Take a look at the list of items below for the full breakdown of what this weapon costs to build in the Tempest’s development center.
M-90 Indra Sniper Rifle Development Cost:
- 20 Omni-Gel Canisters
- 100 Graphite
- 50 Cadmium
- 10 Element Zero
