While Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales has a vast list of features you can tweak to make the game as accessible as possible for players of all walks of life, Spider-Man 2 goes above and beyond what was in the previous games in the franchise.   • Hearing Preset – On/Off
    • The hearing accessibility preset adjusts the following settings:
    • Enables Subtitles
    • Subtitle Speaker Color: Light Green
    • Subtitle Background Opacity: Dark
    • Music Volume: 5
    • Vibration Setting: Functional
  • Motion Sensitivity Preset
    • The motion sensitivity preset adjusts the following settings:
    • Enables: Slow Corner Timescale and Center Dot
    • Disables: Camera Shake, Swing Camera Motion, UI Parallaxing, Motion Blur, Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration, Fullscreen Effects, and Depth of Field
  • Motor Preset
    • The motor accessibility preset adjusts the following settings:
    • Toggles: Aim Mode, Web Wings Mode, Air Trick Mode, Swing/Parkour Mode, Melle Mode
    • Enables: We-Shooter Burst, Continous Dodge, Slow Corner Timescale, Enhanced Auto Aim, Look at Waypoint, Chase Assist, and QTE Autocomplete
    • Disables: Vibration
    • Repeated Button Presses: HOLD

Gameplay Assists

  • Game Speed
    • Adjust the game speed for all gameplay. Does not affect audio or cinematics.
    • To adjust Game Speed on/off during gameplay, set to a Left D-Pad or Right D-Pad shortcut
  • Chase Assist
    • Chase targets have a lowered top movement speed allowing for longer windows of time before the target escapes. Automatically attach to the chase target’s vehicle when in range. Press R3 to automatically turn the camera towards the chase target.
  • Simplify Puzzles
    • When enabled, some puzzles throughout the game are reduced in complexity.
  • Dodge/Parry Timing
    • Increase the amount of time available to successfully Dodge and Parry enemy attacks.
  • Enhanced Auto Aim
    • Makes it easier to snap onto targets when activating Aim Mode
  • QTE Auto Complete
    • When enabled, all Quick Time Events (QTE) and carnival game sequences will automatically advance without required timed button presses.
  • Auto-Heal
    • When enabled, if a full Focus Bar is available, use it to automatically heal when under the specified amount of health.
  • Slow Corner Timescale
    • Slow game speed during corner transitions maintaining a consent visual speed during traversal to reduce disorientation when whipping around a corner at high speeds.
  • Swing Steering Assistance
    • Adjust the amount of assistance added to web-swinging. Higher values allow for easier web swinging while lower values reduce the amount of assistance and cause physics to have a greater affect on web-lines while swinging.

Controls

  • Invert Look Control
    • Choose to invert controls while using the camera to look either up/down (Y-Axis), left/right (X-Axis), or invert both.
  • Repeated Button Presses
    • When set to Hold, on-screen button promo sequences that require multiple button taps can be completed by holding the button instead.
  • Continuous Dodge
    • When enabled, hold Circle to continuously dodge
  • Swing/Parkour Mode
    • Sets Swinging and Parkour actions as either toggled on/off or on a button hold.
  • Aim Mode
    • Sets Aim action as either toggled on/off or a button hold.
  • Melee Mode
    • Sets the Melee action as either a SiNGLE strike, a 4-hit COMBO per button tap, or a CONTINOUS action.
  • Web-Shooter Burst
    • Enable firing up to three webs at once allowing regular enemies and gear puzzles to be webbed up with a single button press
  • Invert Web Wings Control
    • Choose to invert controls when using Web Wings either up/down (Y-Axis), left/right (X-Axis), or Invert Both.
  • Air Trick Mode
    • Air Trick Input (hold Square) must be held in order to continue performing Air Tricks while swinging.

Camera Assists

  • Look at Waypoint
    • Automatically turns the camera towards the objective waypoint on scan.
  • Camera Follow
    • Automatically rotate camera behind Spider-Man while swinging or running.
  • Combat Camera
    • Automatically rotates the camera to assist with keeping enemies in view.

Motion Sensitivity

  • Fullscreen Effects
    • When turned OFF, damage vignettes, intense flashing effects, and effects that impact the entire screen will be removed
  • Camera Shake
    • Turns camera shake during gameplay ON or OFF.
  • Motion Blur
    • Adjust the blurring effect created by camera motion and fast-moving objects. Turning this setting on and off will enable or disable Motion Blur.
  • Center Dot
    • Enable a persistent dot in the center of the screen to help provide a focal point. Hidden during cinematics.
  • Depth of Field
    • Depth of Field provides a blurring effect for objects out of focus with the camera. When enabled, the farther away an object is from the camera’s focusing point, the less sharpness in detail it will have.
  • Chromatic Aberration
    • Enable Chromatic Aberration. Provides a filmic effect where colors appear slightly shifted and out of focus at the image’s corner.
  • Film Grain
    • Adjust the intensity of the film grain visual effect. The 0 setting is the lowest, and 10 setting is the highest.
  • UI Parallaxing
    • When turned OFF, Heads-Up Display (HUD) elements will stay in place on-screen.
  • Look Sensitivity
    • Adjust the camera control sensitivity while looking around. Lower settings move the camera more slowly, while higher settings move the camera more quickly.
  • Webline Bending
    • Turn on/off the ability for weblines to bend while walking on them.
  • Aim Sensitivity
    • Adjust the camera control sensitivity while aiming. Lower settings move the camera more slowly, while higher settings move the camera more quickly.
  • Swing Camera Motions
    • Adjust the amount of roll, pitch, and field of view (FOV) changes while swinging. Lowering the setting reduces these values.

Audio Assists

  • Narrated ASL
    • Enable narration of subtitled American Sign Language (ASL) lines.
  • Voice Boost
    • When enabled, dialogue in the game is turned up to be more audible. While characters are speaking, it adjusts other sounds, so the dialogue is clearer.
  • High Frequency Cutoff
    • Filters out all frequencies about 6,000 HZ, such as high-pitched ringing after explosions.
  • Notch Frequency Filters
    • Enables the notch frequency filter slider to remove a specific frequency range.
    • Additional setting to filter out specific Frequency Range
  • Low-Frequency Cutoff
    • Filters out all frequencies below 600 Hz, such as the bass of an explosion.

  • Subtitles
    • Display subtitles for spoken dialogue.
  • Subtitle Size
    • Adjust the size of the subtitles.
  • Subtitle Color
    • Set the text color for subtitles.
  • Subtitle Speaking Color
    • Set the speaker name color for the subtitles.
  • Subtitle Background Color
    • Set the background color for subtitles.
  • Subtitle Background Opacity
    • Set the opacity for the subtitle background color.

  • Emphasis Text Color
    • Set the color for emphasized text.
  • Icon and Prompt Size
    • Set the size for in-world waypoints, icons, and prompts.

  • Hero Shader
    • Apply a solid single-color shader on the hero to improve visibility.
  • Ally Shader
    • Apply a solid single-color shader on allies to improve visibility.
  • NPC Shader
    • Apply a solid single-color shader on key NPCs to improve visibility.
  • Basic Enemy Shader
    • Apply a solid single-color shader on basic melee enemies to improve visibility.
  • Ranged Enemy Shader
    • Apply a solid single-color shader on all enemies with ranged projectiles to improve visibility.
