The word is finally out about Marvel Snap’s Spotlight Cache content for August 2023 and I must say, amazing choices, Second DHaha inner. I personally love the third week and will certainly save my Spotlight Caches for an opening spree then. Let me guide you through the contents of Spotlight Caches for August 2023 in Marvel Snap.
What Cards Will Be Available in Spotlight Caches in Marvel Snap during August 2023?
As always, Spotlight Caches are a well-measured balance between getting cool new cards when you are new to the game, filling the collection gaps when you are a seasoned player, and getting some cool variants along the way.
Between August 8 and August 15, you will have a chance to obtain the following cards:
- Galactus
- Nimrod
- Spider-Ham
Kind of a weak cache if you ask me. Spider-Ham and Galactus have been nerfed, Nimrod was buffed… Meh, you can still skip this one if you don’t like it.
Between August 16 and August 22, you will have a chance to obtain the following cards:
- Lady Deathstrike
- M.O.D.O.K.
- Stature
This one is great. Stature is just a good card. Hence the “Good Card Stature” deck. M.O.D.O.K. is the core of one of my favorite decks, and Lady Deathstrike is a brand-new card, which we have covered along with Daken, X-23, and Silver Samurai in the August Leak article.
Between August 23 and August 29, you will have a chance to obtain the following cards:
- X-23
- Nebula
- Silk
This one is my favorite of the month. I do not have either of these cards and I’ll be thrilled to progress my collection by three cards with less than or equal to 4 case openings.
Between August 30 and September 5, you will have a chance to obtain the following cards:
- Silver Samurai
- Kitty Pryde
- Spider-Man 2099
This one is a blunder. Kitty Pryde was given out for free to everyone who played the game at the time, and Spider-Man 2099 is a niche card for Move decks that never seem to be at the top of the meta.
