Rogue is confirmed to be arriving on Dec. 12 with the launch of season 5.5. As soon as the update is out and downtime for the patch ends, you’ll be able to jump in and start using her on the battlefield.

Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 Features

So far, we don’t know much about season 5.5 beyond the hero that is set to join the roster, which is Rogue. Even her role and abilities haven’t been revealed yet, although it seems fairly likely she’ll be a Vanguard or Strategist based on her powers.

Outside of Rogue’s arrival, we can likely expect to see an array of other new features that are generally added in every big update. This includes additions like:

  • A new map.
  • New skins, likely including Rogue and Gambit wedding skins that were teased in the season five trailer, as well as an additional launch skin and a Competitive skin for Rogue.
  • New events.
  • New accessories.
  • New and reworked Team-Ups.
  • Character buffs and nerfs.

Some features, like the addition of Rogue, hero balance changes, and some skins, will be available as soon as season 5.5 launches. Others, like the new map and potential new accessories, may instead be released in the weeks that follow, as has been the pattern with other recent updates.

While you wait for the new season to begin, there’s plenty to keep you busy in the meantime. You might try learning how to beat Nightmare 4, how to complete Lost In The Game, how to beat Zombie Scarlet Witch, and how the Van Dyne’s Grand Opening event works.
