Step By Step Instructions
The process to mark an enemy in Call of Duty: Warzone is not a complex one. All that you need to do is press the middle mouse button on PC or up on the D-pad if you are playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Now, the middle mouse button is the default key binding to perform this action, so it may be different for your PC if you assigned the middle mouse button to a different action.
You must make sure that you are aiming right at the player that you like marked. If you are not pointing directly at the player you would like marked; it will just set a directional marker like you would place if you are telling your team to go to a specific location.
Players will know if they have successfully marked a player when a red diamond icon appears on the screen and right above the player.
