The Last of Us Part 2: All Weapon Locations

There are 12 weapons that players can unlock in The Last of Us Part 2. Here's the location of each weapon in the game.

Like the previous game, weapons in The Last of Us Part 2 are scattered all around the generated world. Some will be easy to stumble upon, while others can be a bit tricky to find and can be easily missed if you’re not being careful. Since Ellie is going to need all of the help she can get, we’ve put together a nice little guide that will tell you every weapon location in The Last of Us Part 2.

Every Weapon Location in The Last of Us Part 2

There are a total of 12 weapons that players can find and use in The Last of Us Part 2, some of which will be for Ellie and others will be for Abby. Additionally, some weapons you’ll likely recognize from the previous game, while others will be new additions to the series. In the table below, we’ve explained where to find every weapon in The Last of Us Part 2.

Semi-Auto Pistol

This will be a starting weapon for Ellie, you won’t have to find it

Bolt-Action Rifle

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 4

Revolver

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 7

Pump Shotgun

Players can find this weapon inside the bank vault during Chapter 9

Bow

Payers can find this weapon inside a garage during Chapter 16

Military Pistol

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 24

Semi-Auto Rifle

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 24

Hunting Pistol

Players will find this weapon inside the Soft Drink Distribution Center after meeting up with Manny in Chapter 25

Double Barrel Shotgun

Players will find this weapon inside a shop on the left side of Chinatown in Chapter 28

Crossbow

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 31

Flamethrower

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 34

Silenced Submachine Gun

Players will earn this weapon naturally during Chapter 44

As you can see, there are a handful of different weapons that players will earn throughout the main story. Further, these weapons will be able to be modified at upgrade tables as you collect Scrap Parts. Additionally, if you’re a trophy hunter, you’ll need to find all 12 weapons in The Last of Us Part 2 in order to earn the High Caliber trophy.

It’s also worth noting that the game will allow you to go back and play specific chapters after you’ve beat it, so you can easily pick up a missed weapon. The game itself will take about 25 hours to beat and can be replayed of various levels of difficulty. If you’re planning to try out the hardest mode, Survivor, then you’ll probably want to make sure you unlock every weapon before you begin the New Game Plus mode.
