Play Like It’s the End

The best way to get better at Knives Out is to always be ready to go head to head in battle with your enemies. This means playing the game like it’s end-game time no matter what time it is. If all you think about is just surviving another minute, then you’re going to end up dead without anything to show for it. Think each option out, strategize, and always be prepared to do whatever it takes to make it to the end. Split decisions are what get people killed in battle royale games, so having a game plan will make a world of difference for you.

This means you’ll want to be alert at all times, and always check your corners as you explore towns and buildings. You never know when one of the other 99 people in the game are going to come at you, so make sure you are always prepared for the gunfight, and always prepared to do what it takes to come out on top.

Know What to Look For

There are really only three things that you need in order to survive a full match in Knives Out. Thankfully, you’ll always automatically pick these items up, so you won’t have to worry about running over to them, interacting with them, and then equipping them. Quickly survey every area that you come to, and always be aware of any essential loot that might be lying around. If you see what you think might be something useful, approach it slowly and cautiously, always prepared for others to jump out and try to take it.

These three important items are Body Armor, Helmet, and a Backpack. You were probably expecting us to say that a weapon or even first aid were the most important items, but they are merely tools to help further your survival. If you really want to make it to the end, and stand up against the matches best players, then you’ll need Body Armor, a Helmet, and a Backpack. This will increase your inventory space, while also giving you additional protection from weapon damage. All three of which are equally important to surviving and making it to the end. After all, without a backpack you can’t hold additional ammunition or first aid.

Knowledge is Key to Survival

The final pointer that we would like to make is to always be aware of your surroundings. Your spatial awareness is important in games like Knives Out, and knowing where enemies are, where you are, and what kind of areas are around you is going to be exceptionally important to staying alive in Knives Out. That being said, your mini-map is going to be a crucial part of this information gathering, so always keep an eye on it, and which direction you’re currently heading towards.

Pay attention to your mini-map, loot the important items you need, and always plan ahead. If you can grasp onto these three simple things, then you’ll be well on your way to getting better in Knives Out.
