Palworld is one of the more interesting indie titles to kick off the start of the year, so you might be wondering where you can buy and download the game for yourself. Here’s whether Palworld is releasing on Steam.
Will Palworld Be Available on Steam?
You’ll be happy to know that, when it launches in Early Access, Palworld will be available to purchase for any Steam user who wants to play it there. The game already has its Steam page which you can use to wishlist the game and get notified the second the game is released. You’ll also be able to purchase it soon but as of writing, the game isn’t available just yet.
Thankfully, the existence of the game’s Steam page has allowed us to glean a few details regarding both its early access release and its future. For example, the game will offer full controller support for both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. It will also have Steam Achievements alongside support for the Steam Cloud to keep your saves consistent across multiple devices.
We also know now that, while subject to change as development progresses, Palworld will be in early access for at least a year. During this point, there will be a roadmap of additional features that will help beef up the game’s content, alongside regular updates to fix bugs or issues that can be corrected fairly quickly. Regardless of how long the early access period lasts, you can rest assured the game shouldn’t go extended periods without new content.
Palworld releases on PC and Xbox Series X|S on January 19. While not planned, a PlayStation 5 version may be considered depending on what the community wants during development.
